The installation of Goiana or Goiás stone for the floor must be done by a professional fitter.
It is not recommended to use ready-made mortar or grout for this stone.
For the dough, it is recommended to use the proportion 3 x 1 x 1, i.e, 3 parts of sand, 1 of cement and 1 of lime.
For the grout you can use 2 portions of fine hydra sand for 1 portion of cement. This ensures a longer-lasting grout without the risk of it coming off with WAP cleaning.
Cleaning must be done immediately, after the grout begins to dry. It should never be done the day before so as not to dry out and stain the stone.
