São Tomé gained this name due to its location of extraction, in the south of Minas Gerais, in the city of São Tomé das Letras. The São Tomé stone is considered a quartzite, as it is formed from quartz grains. In this sawn model, the stone has the size of 15 centimeters tall by 30 centimeters wide. With thicknesses ranging from 1 a 3,5 centimeters, can be calibrated too.
